I'd like to say that I prefer my life to be mellow all of the time. But fine, I admit it. I prefer my life to be busy 90% of the time. Don't get me wrong, that 10% of mellow is essential to my sanity. For example, last weekend was a WELL needed 10% to just chill and do nothing besides laundry, cleaning, netflixing, and sleeping, since NY absolutely drained me. And take last night for example, too. I had a long week, so it was perfect to end it with a friday full of skiing, working, climbing, and then just kicking it with my favorite Chandy, grabbing dinner and then watching Down With Love.
But today, I have zero plans besides spending a couple hours studying global issues for an exam. hrmm. I'm bored already. What's with this 20% mellow shenanigans? I need to go climbing or something.

Bella.
I love the name Bella. Every time I hear it, I can't help but think of Steve's adorable little daughter from a few summers ago...Kristie remember that? Oh gosh, that summer was so long ago.Anyways, I watched this movie this weekend and would highly recommend it. It's a beautiful piece: artistic with a touch of indie, but all in all a bit more mainstream with a beautiful message. Watch it, you won't regret it.

Call Me Vain...
...but have you heard of a Brazillian Keratin Treatment?
Generally speaking, I love my wavy hair. But. This could be awesome. hmm...what do you think about this? Could be a nice wintertime hair treatment don't you think?

Does Anyone Sleep In NY?
Let's just say that my past two weeks in NY were seriously amazing...and seriously lacking sleep! But, I'm all caught up now, so I'm happy.
Recap:
-AAF Most Promising Minority award. This was honestly one of the coolest experiences, and I am so grateful for this opportunity I had to network with both industry professionals as well as my peers who were there. AAF did a wonderful job! Interviews all went well...wish me luck as I try to actually land some of these jobs!
-Spent my non-working weekend with Carissa, Jonny, and Kennedy! I don't know how we managed to never take a picture together! They are the best hosts, and little Kennedy is a doll. I cannot believe how big she is getting!
-The Garnier pitch could not have gone better! That feeling of completely nailing a pitch makes all of those sleepless nights and early mornings worth it. I cannot be more greatful for such an amazing team to work with on this...we had so much fun together, but still worked hard. Garnier is donating $10,000 to BYU, and were very impressed with the work we produced. YAY!
-Oh, and how could I forget the Super Bowl...one of the funnest Super Bowl parties I've been to! Kaisha, Vanessa, Hayley, Melissa, Brad...ahhh I miss all of you NYers!
I love NY. But, I love UT too. Went skiing all of Friday morning...love the mountains so much. It's good to be back.
for now :)

Alive.
Just checking in with the blog world. NY week one: complete.
I can't even begin to describe how amazing...and busy...this week was. I had a chance to interview with some of the top agencies in NY and brush elbows with some of their top peeps. Sleepless and slightly stressful...but definitely a week well worth it! Ugh I'm starting to sound like the blog SSB, but really, such a blessing to have been invited to this event this week.
(Pictures and more details to come next week.)

Oh Dear...
Dear US Airways Agent,
You made my day by changing my flight for free when I forgot my wallet at the airport. Seriously, you rock.
Dear PHX Airport,
umm I'm not your number one fan, but I'll deal. At least you have free WiFi.
Dear last COMMS Elective,
Seriously, why are you so hard?
Dear Technology,
Thank heavens you exist! how else would I get everything done while being stuck en route in various airports all day long?
Dear black lady screaming on your cell phone,
If you're not mad or excited, why, WHY on earth would you ever talk that loudly on your phone in a public place? For pete's sake I have my headphones in and I can STILL hear your entire conversation with your girlfriend.
Dear New York,
I can't wait until I'm back tonight.
