Creativity
One of my favorite things about reading so many blogs every day (for work and fun) is seeing all of the creativity that's out there. Seriously, some people just make my jaw drop. Like this blog called Mila's Daydreams. This amazing mother snaps these photos of her daughter as she sleeps. Just check out some of the amazing 'set' design she's done. So amazing, so creative. I'm buying her book as soon as it's out.

Oh hi, life.
I've pretty much looked like this for the past week. Sick? No. Utterly exhausted from work/church calling/life in general? Totally. How do you guys who have kids even survive?!

Personal Manifesto
This is something I've been thinking about lately and finally got around to writing down. So...what would your personal manifesto say if you wrote one?
Edit: I have no idea why blogger is being so difficult and not letting me upload my high res of this. click here to see a larger aka more legible version.

Apples to Apples
Ahh Fall, how I have missed you. I've missed your beautiful red and gold leaves and clean crisp air. This weekend, I went to a cider mill with Daniela. It's a huge orchard where you can get in touch with your farm girl roots and walk around and pick a variety of seasonal produce. Just guess what we picked this weekend. Apples. Apples that just screamed to be made into apple pie. Yum.

But first, just check out how BIG these pumpkins were!
An apple picking we go...
I took home these bright green little guys.
They were just so darn cute I couldn't help but play around with them before they turned into...
...this!
Oh my. Fall never looked or smelled so delectable. Fresh apple pie anyone?

Oh Kanye
I've had it stuck in my head ALL week. The video is weird though, so just play the song and change the page or something.

Thank The Heavens For Weekends
Do you ever just have one of those weeks? Yeah. This was mine.
This week...
...I got back on the exercise band wagon.
...I ate more baby spinach than is morally right.
...I concluded that people who love Michigan have either a) never lived anywhere else, b) never lived anywhere else, c) never lived anywhere else, or d) live up north, practically in Canada (of course it's gorgeous up there).
...I went over on my minutes enough to double my phone bill. Lesson learned.
...I talked to every member of my family.
...I went to PetSmart and seriously contemplated adopting a kitty. $100. That's like a pair of shoes. And it's cute and snuggly and would double my Michigan friend count.
...I took a half day in the middle of the week and spent the afternoon rearranging the living room, cleaning out the garage, cleaning off the deck, and planting indoor flowers.
...I reinstated my nightly movie habit. Highly recommend "Me & Orson Welles" and "Ondine."
...I realized that the highlight of my day rotates between making plans to leave Michigan, and talking on the phone to people who don't live here who I wished I still lived near.
...I cried a lot. at work, at home, in the car, and on the phone.
...I considered every repercussion of throwing in the towel and moving back to UT or NY.
This weekend...
...I'm excited and relieved to have a familiar face in town.
...I cannot wait for conference. I really need it this year.
...I'm boycotting normal clothes. Vive yoga pants.
Life, I'd appreciate a lull right about now. I've had enough of these roller coaster ride shenanigans for now, thank you very much.
