When life becomes almost more than I can bear, I often turn to my scriptures. Sometimes I honestly feel so lost I don't know where to read, but know that I should, so I just start reading randomly as I flip through the Book of Mormon reading sections I've highlighted.
This morning I came across this quote I had written in my scriptures years ago:
"Some are tested by poor health, some by a body that is deformed or homely. Others are tested by handsome and healthy bodies; some by the passion of youth; others by the erosions of age. Some suffer disappointment in marriage, family problems; others live in poverty and obscurity. Some (perhaps this is the hardest test) find ease and luxury. All are part of the test and there is more equality in this testing than sometimes we suspect" --Boyd K. Packer
The last sentence of this quotation really got me thinking. I really believe that there is a reason we go through everything. I try to keep this in mind when life gets hard and I just want to cry. "There is more equality in this testing than sometimes we suspect." We're meant to go through the challenges that present themselves to us in life. We're meant to do it. Our Heavenly Father knows what we each need to learn in life and which tests are capable of teaching us those lessons.

Your post resonates with me. I know how it feels to just sit and cry and hope that there is peace out there. I like that quote. It will all be okay; keep your chin up and have faith. Love you.
