The End of School

This semester has definitely been a semester of firsts for me. The first semester I never had a burn-out. The first semester I've actually enjoyed ALL of my classes; the first semester I don't have a single written final; the first semester I've been engaged (lol); the first semester I've decided I'm staying in Provo for spring and summer; the first semester I've realized that I'm now officially "old" at college.

I think the biggest thing I've realized this semester is that I'm comfortable being myself. For example, I'm not graduating on time this April. But I'm ok with that. I found what I love to do, even if it'll take me an extra year to get my degree in it. And besides, who ever said it was a race to the finish line of college? I've also realized how much I love my family. I love how tight we are with each other...lol I don't think I know of a family who uses more minutes on their phones with each other than we do! I talk to at least my mom and one of my brothers each day. Having Daniel out here at school with me has helped me become closer to him than I was before, and I'm so grateful for that since he'll be leaving this year on a mission.

Mmm...so moral of the story: I love life right now, especially school and my family.
