Continuing the Revamp

Ok, so back when I moved into my house a month ago, I got on a kick of repainting and decorating everything in my room. The room went from stark white everything to heather grey and charcoal, with pops of yellow...and I love it! But, I didn't quite have the nerve to paint the dresser. I mean, paint? I could see how a stain could work well, but was quite skeptical about the whole paint idea...til I stumbled across this. I'm thinking white and black...mmm? It'd hands down look infinitely better than the current brown state that it's in, yes?

Oh and I'm thinking I'm going to add a demi partition via a hanging curtain gathered and cinched to the wall by my short bookshelf to split the space. White, I believe. That way I can finally feel good about going all out on my vintage lace inspired wall. Black lace on the heather grey wall and cream lace on the charcoal. It should be fab. Ahh still can't believe this darn room has taken me a month to get done! I'll be sure to post photos when it all comes togetha.

And yes, I know, I should be studying. But I just can't concentrate! I can do like thirty minutes of focus to every ten of something else. Oh my word, it's bad.

  1. I LOVE painting furniture, Brookie! I went hog wild on my kitchen last year and painted the table and chairs adorable colors. I still love them. So I say go for it!
