Five Hundred.

Sometimes I get stuck in a creative rut at work and need to get my brain thinking in different ways. Especially on the days where creativity seems foreign. My favorite game is 'what could I do with $500?' Seriously, works like a charm. 20 minutes later, and I'm all kinds of refreshed. You should definitely try this.

Here's today's list.

$500 equals...
-a one way ticket to Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, or Reykjavik (Iceland)*
-157 gallons of gas (US avg of $3.19 today), a little over 9 full tanks for me
-one 7 day adult pass at Vail
-approximately 5 new j.crew shirts, 4 dresses, 5 skirts, or 10x that amount at the j.crew outlet
-two lower bowl tickets to the bulls/jazz game
-introductory sailing lessons + a new pair of boat shoes or ray ban aviators
-two orchestra seats for Les Mis
-four new mud tires** for my car
-three tandem sky diving jumps at Skydive Hawaii
-two round trip flights to nyc
-20 pedicures from Juicy
-71 facials from Lush
-50 bouquets of fresh flowers from Nino's Market

I'm sitting on the fence between a one way ticket to Barcelona and the sailing lessons...although 71 facials is pretty alluring.

*I could probably spend an entire day browsing travel sites. seriously, those sites are so addicting. If only PTO days grew on trees. Or summer break still existed in the real world.
**I would kill for some summer time off roading riiiiiiiight about now. winter is so overrated without mountains to play in.
