The Art of Living

“A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.”

- L.P. Jack

Amen Mister Jack, amen. Now just let me go reevaluate my vision of excellence...

  1. What an awesome quote. This is definitely the kind of life I want to have, one where I love what I do so much that there's no distinction between work and play.

Found you from Megan's blog, btw. I saw that you were from Chicago and just had to stop by. (I lived there for 7 years before moving to CA) :)

    1. Hi Stephanie! First off, love your photos on your blog! That's too funny that you live in California now, I've actually been looking into moving to CA this year...I think enduring 3 Chicago winters has finally taken its toll on me!
