The lovely two-three. Twenty two truly treated me well. So in honor of the new number, here are twenty three things...twenty two things I loved about year twenty two, plus the number one thing I'm looking forward to in year twenty three:
23- New York. NY was such a blessing in my life last summer, and helped me so much in so many different ways.
22- The BYU Ad Lab. These peeps became some of my best friends this year, and I love them all for it. Dream? To work with some of these loverlies in the real world one day.
21- Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Caramel Apples. These babies got me through thick and thin; they were my go to pick me up for the worst of the worst days. Where would I be without them? Oh, probably 10 pounds lighter.
20- Climbing. For the first time in a long time, I was able to be 100% myself this year, complete with random outdoor adventures at heaven knows what time of the day or night. I have my Moab boys (& girls) to thank for that.
19- Ice Climbing. Crossed another one of those crazy bucket list items off this year when I got to go ice climbing this winter. Even though I thought I had hypothermia in my lil fingers by the time we were done, I loved every minute of that adventure.
18- Skiing. I cannot believe I waited until my last year of college to take the ski class, but man am I ever so glad that I finally took it! Nothing compares to being able to ski a full two days a week all winter long.
17- The Linds, Ash, Steph/Steve, Ilene/Eric, Kris club. You are my best friends in the entire world, and I don't know what I would do without you.
16- My family. I've become so much closer with my Mom, Dad, and Michael since they moved down to the cabin, and I am so grateful for all of the many many many many many trips I was able to take down there this last year, and all of the friends who were able to make the trips with me.
15- Daniel. I am so proud of my little brother who is serving a Mormon mission right now in Milan, Italy. I miss him so much, and am so proud of him.
14- Paul. The best older brother in this world, I know I can always count on him to be the listening ear...or partner in crime...that I need.
13- My BYU Ad Professors. Jeff, K-Love, and Doug E Fresh really pushed me to do better, and helped me get to where I am today. I truly owe them for everything they've done for me.
12- All of the friends I became closer with this last year who taught me so much. Truly.
11- Golf. Who woulda thought I'd really start to love this? But there's something about it that's just plain therapeutic...when it's good weather. Otherwise it turns into plain silliness.
10- Utah. I used to always count down the days until I could run away from the state, but now I really miss those mountains!
9- Hospital milkshakes. Used and abused this system to the max this last year. 2am in Provo never tasted so good.
8- Late night conversations. I feel like I've had an abnormal amount of good late night chats with different friends over the last year.
7- Uncooked tortillas and OJ. My main staple this past year that nobody except for Kris seems to understand.
6- Yoga pants. I could not have lived this last year without my yoga pants. I'm sure the ad program peeps can attest to this.
5- Uggs. So I caved this last year, and my feet have never had a happier winter. Yoga pants+Uggs=True Wintertime Happiness.
4- Devanzas Park City trips with Chandy. Yes, this gets its own line, Chandy and Devanzas are just that awesome.
3- An amazing job. I worked my hiney off this past year to get to this point, but I still feel so blessed to have gotten such an amazing job straight out of college.
2- A boy named Bobby. He gives me a reason to smile every day.
...and the number one thing I'm looking forward to in year twenty three:
1- Chicago. June 2011 could not come any faster.
